From fine dining options to casual, quick bites, there’s a little bit of everything for everyone here. Categorized by dining experience and cuisine, here’s a few of our favorite restaurants in Medford, Oregon.

Fine Dining Restaurants in Medford, OR

If you’ve been craving an amazing dining experience, Medford has a great list of fine dining options. Here are a few of our favorites:

Porters Dining at the Depot

Porters Dining at the Depot is the longest established and only AAA Three Diamond Rated fine dining restaurant in Medford. Their menu offers a variety of American classics but is especially praised for its fresh seafood plates and custom-cut steaks made from Northwest Angus beef. As much as possible, Porters’ ingredients are sourced from local growers and vintners.

Porters brings the city’s old town history to life, as it occupies the historic abandoned train depot. Designated as a National Historic Landmark, the building still contains original functioning features like wooden beams, hand-chiseled granite corbels, red roof tiles, and “railroad graffiti” from over 100 years ago.

Elements Tapas Bar

With origins from the Andalucia region of Southern Spain, Elements Tapas Bar blends the fine dining experience with communal, tapas-style eating. They serve traditional and non-traditional tapas like ceviche, paella, and Spanish-inspired flatbreads using local and regional ingredients. Alongside that, their full bar includes the region’s most extensive list of Spanish wines.

Elements Tapas Bar is located in the heart of the city, in the historic Goldy Building, which was built in 1907. With a delicious menu spread and incredible historic charm, it’s sure to provide a delightful dining experience.

Bambu

Bambu offers a satisfying blend of regional Asian cuisine. From Chinese favorites like dim sum to traditional (and some non-traditional) Thai curries, each menu item brings bold flavors from around the globe.

Many of Bambu’s dishes are naturally gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan friendly. However, they also offer tofu substitutes on any dish that is not in order to accommodate the dietary needs of all customers.

Casual and Quick Bites in Medford, OR

For a faster, more casual bite to eat, there is still a large selection of restaurants for you to choose from in Medford. Try out these casual dining options that have pleased visitors and Medford natives alike for years.

Jasper’s Cafe

Jasper’s Cafe brings a unique twist to American fare. With almost 40 different flavors of gourmet burgers, their creativity makes them shine. These burgers are hand pressed daily and offered in a variety of meat options, including traditional beef or a range of wild game meats like Dakota free-range bison and Australian Outback wild kangaroo.

To accompany your burger, Jasper’s also provides a long list of craft beers, local wines, and milkshakes made from hand-scooped ice cream.

Tap & Vine

Tap & Vine offers pub fare with delicious international twists. From giant pretzels to hawaiian bowls to Thai style fried fish, the menu features food inspired by all regions of the world. Also, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients, you’ll still get a unique taste of Southern Oregon, too.

Tap & Vine doesn’t just have an amazing menu — their dining experience is great too! With a gorgeous patio, a lineup of special events, and live music every Sunday night, it makes for a great night out.

Kaleidoscope Pizza

Kaleidoscope Pizza is one of the most popular restaurants in Medford — and once you visit, you’ll know why. Just as a kaleidoscope continuously changes views, they’ve made it their mission to continuously offer new gourmet pizza options. Their made-from-scratch doughs and 100% all-natural cheese truly make a difference when it comes to flavor.

Better yet? Kaleidoscope Pizza is committed to the Medford community. Through annual in-house fundraisers, local artisan support, and solar panel installation, they’ve proven their dedication to help the wellbeing of their people and their environment.

Comfort Food in Medford, OR

There are a few restaurants in Medford that bring the “Southern” to Southern Oregon. Stop by one of these choices for a casual, but delectable comfort food meal.

Over Easy

Established upon the values of local, fresh, and eclectic, Over Easy is one of Medford’s most popular brunch hangouts. They offer a menu filled with sweet and savory brunch options, all of which pair perfectly with their 10+ flavors of mimosas.

Savory-wise, the crispy fried steak sandwich is worth trying, and sweet-wise, we recommend the pancakes with spiced candied pecans and honey butter; but don’t be fooled if these options aren’t available when you stop in — the restaurant operates using a weekly rotating menu in order to consistently deliver new options for guests.

Buttercloud Bakery & Cafe

Buttercloud Bakery & Cafe is a made-from-scratch bakery, most notable for its biscuits, scones, and sticky buns. Made with as many local and seasonal ingredients as possible, their rotating monthly baked goods make for perfectly small, sweet bites.

Aside from sweet treats, the cafe also offers savory biscuit sandwiches. While some include traditional breakfast sandwich ingredients, others deliver more creative flavor combinations, like beef brisket and roasted zucchini.

Ruby’s

Originally established in neighboring Ashland, Oregon, Ruby’s has recently opened the doors to its new Medford location. They offer a selection of breakfast burritos and eclectic lunch sandwiches, all made with organic, locally sourced ingredients.

With your plate, you can choose from a variety of their specially curated coffees, smoothies, craft beers, and house cocktails. No matter what you choose, Ruby’s food and beverage items make for the perfect brunch.
